The reason I believe an Ethernet connectivity system would still work the best is because of how easy it is to upgrade our current system to incorporate the rest of the office into the network. Ethernet is easily the easiest and most cost-effective system to implement for the rest of the office. Since the network is already based through Ethernet, the rest of the office can just implement the system by just expanding on the current network by expanding the physical cable throughout the rest of the office.Since Ethernet has already been installed in parts of the office it offers easier expansion because the office already has a source to be expanded upon with our current star-bus topology which would involve only adding switches that could all be connected to the current backbone source which is already in place. So as long as we keep the network within the current standards of cable length, number of switches and devices attached to the network, it would create a successful network throughout the office.
